CITI University is engaged in a wide range of activities to increase access to education and provide quality education to the public. One example of this is the implementation of a lifelong education policy, supporting students and the public through training, lectures, and free educational resources. It also organizes events to disseminate information about career choices and higher education, making a real contribution to the development of education in Mongolia.
CITI University is implementing the “CITI University Lifelong Education Access Policy”, approved by the Resolution of the Board of Directors of CITI University No. A/15 of 2023. This has legally opened the opportunity for students to participate in our educational activities on an equal basis. Citizens who do not study at our school are provided with the opportunity to use educational resources free of charge. These include:
1. Certification courses:
· Mongolian deel button nailing training – 6-10 hours
· Initial nail trimming technology training – 6 hours
· Short-term folk song training – 9 hours
· 10-finger typing class 2 times a week for 2 hours
· Line dance training for seniors
2. Free access to campus facilities:
· Free library services are provided to residents of Sukhbaatar District 7
· Access to the electronic catalog of the “CITI” University library and read books in electronic format
· Service at the fitness center at a specific time
3. Free access in online conditions
· Use of WiFi network on the school campus
Professor J. Aiganym of our Humanities School /Mental health and support/ gave a lecture on “The impact of stress factors on psychological stability”, and Professor G. Tsenguun of the Advanced School /Quality education/ gave a lecture on “Opportunities to enter the world’s best Tsinghua University”.
Educational events that attracted public interest, such as “Career Promotion Day” for high school students and “Graduation Show” for graduates, were held in March and April.
Our university successfully participated in the “Higher Education Expo 2024” for the public, secondary school graduates, and parents. Also participated in the “International Higher Education Exhibition” expo held in Shanghai, China, and Ulan-Ude, Russia, to introduce the development of education in Mongolia to the public. A total of 10 public-oriented art and cultural events and career choice days were successfully organized.
Our “CITI” training center has provided short-term training in the fields of librarianship, beautician, tailor, foreign language, and tour guide, and has graduated 151 people with certificates of competency. We organize off-campus education activities in the following areas:
1. Conducting thematic lectures and training (For example: Lecture by Professor G. Tsenguun, Director of the Advanced School on SDG 4 /Quality education/ “Opportunities to enter the world’s best Tsinghua University”)
2. Student volunteer programs (For example: Law School students organized a demonstration lecture on the topic “The Harm of Peer Bullying” for high school students)
Introducing higher education activities to local schools (“Preparing for the General Entrance Examination with Mongolian Language Courses”)
