During the training, the doctoral student will follow the following directions and develop an annual work plan;
1/ In the first academic year
Basic professional courses will be taken. At the end of each semester, for each subject:
(I) The topic of the research and the mentor will be discussed at a meeting of the Advisory Committee and approved by the order of the President of CITI University.
(II) The doctoral student will determine the studied status of the research topic, make a list of books and publications to be used in the research, and a thematic research plan under the supervision of the mentor, which will be presented and approved by the Advisory Committee at the end of the academic year.
2/ In the second academic year
Professional theory or specialization course will be completed. Credits for classroom courses will be completed and research will be continued.
The doctoral student needs to present at the domestic research conference at least once and the thesis should be published.
Research article might be co-authored, related to the dissertation research topic must be published in national research journals or university research journals.
The report on the research works done for 2 years will be presented to the relevant department and advisory commission, and will make a presentation related to the topic at a scientific conference.
In the second academic year, a research model/type will be developed and laboratory and production (field) experiments will be conducted.
3/ In the third academic year
The research and experimental work must be carried out intensively and presented to the relevant department and Advanced Academic Affairs Department.
The doctoral student has to publish at least 2 articles in professional scientific journals about the results of his/her research work according to the research work plan.
The doctoral student has to publish one article in an internationally recognized scientific journal, and make presentations at international and national conferences as well as a teachers' research conference, and publish the thesis.
The doctoral student will complete the experimental and research work, write a dissertation and present it to the advisory committee.
A certificate of completion of the Ph.D. program will be issued to a doctoral student, who has fully completed the doctoral program, paid the tuition fee under the relevant procedures, completed 50% of the research work, and has a GPA of 3.4 or higher in the professional and other subjects by the order of the President in recognition of Academic Affairs Department and then approve as a doctoral candidate.
