Program Name: "CITY Global Future" Scholarship Program
Objective:
CITY University has initiated this scholarship program to provide quality education to youth from low- and middle-income countries, enabling them to acquire advanced skills and contribute to the social development of their home countries.
2. Eligibility:
- Must be a citizen of a low- or middle-income country.
- Should be unable to afford tuition fees but show academic excellence and actively participate in community activities.
- Open to young individuals wishing to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degrees.
3. Scholarship Benefits:
- Full (100%) tuition coverage.
- Partial support for accommodation and living expenses.
- Discounted textbooks and study materials.
- One return flight ticket per year for international students.
4. Areas of Study:
The program is dedicated to students enrolling in CITY University’s main academic fields, including law, journalism, marketing, management, art studies, business administration, and cultural studies.
5. Eligibility Criteria:
- A commitment to positively impact their home country.
- Must meet the financial need requirement by proving an inability to pay for tuition.
5. Personal Development Plan:
Applicants are required to submit an essay outlining their plan for applying the knowledge gained through this program to benefit their home country after graduation.
6. Selection Process:
- Initial Screening: Evaluation of the applicant's academic record and financial need.
- Interview: Candidates shortlisted for the program will participate in an in-person or online interview to assess their values, goals, and motivation for study.
- Final Decision: The CITY University Scholarship Committee will make the final selection decisions.
7. Support for Scholarship Recipients:
- Professional Mentorship: Scholarship recipients will have access to professional advisors for guidance throughout their studies.
- Development Workshops: Recipients will participate in short-term training sessions to develop skills in leadership, communication, and project management.
