Q. When was Citi University founded? Is it accredited?
CITI University was founded in 1998 and is one of the first private universities. Our school was accredited by the National Council for Education Accreditation at the primary and advanced levels in 2005 and 2010, and in 2012 was certified by the Ministry of Education and Science.

Accredited university diplomas are recognized in any country. Our graduates are successfully studying abroad.
Q. What foreign relations and student exchange programs do you have?
The advantage of our “CITI” University is a well-developed FOREIGN RELATIONS AND COOPERATION. We work with more than 20 universities from France, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, the Czech Republic, Russia and China.
We have successfully implemented many international projects and programs in the past. For example, since 2014, we have been selected as a partner of the Erasmus Mundus Mobility with Asia (EMMA) program in Mongolia. Under this program, more than 30 students and teachers of our school have successfully completed their bachelor's, master's, doctoral and mid-term programs at the University of Nice Sofia Antipolis, France.
There are many paid internships at UEDA College in Japan and in Korea.

CITI University is located in the “A” zone of the city center, 7th khoroo, Sukhbaatar district, Denver Street, on the west bank of the Selbe River. Our school is located not far from Sukhbaatar Square, the capital of Ulaanbaatar. Q. When will the admission take place?
Registration for the undergraduate program takes place from June-August each year. Registration for graduate, doctoral, and undergraduate’s part-time degree programs takes place in the spring of February and September in the fall of the academic year.

Eligible students will come to the school between August 10-15 to register, and online applicants will need to bring the original documents to the Department of Academic Affairs.
The program of the consortium of Mongolian universities and colleges will be open to local entrants who have received an optional study permit by registering at the school within a specified period of time.

Entrance exam may be withheld only in the following cases. These include:
1 / A citizen with higher education shall have a second higher education;
2 / to enter a bachelor's degree program after graduating from a specialized secondary school with a diploma education;
3 / Having completed general education abroad, the examination score, which is generally accepted in other countries, has been reimbursed by the Center for Educational Evaluation and has been certified.
Except as mentioned above, it is mandatory to provide an Entrance Exam in accordance with the criteria set by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.

Q. Where to apply for displacement?
1/ Students wishing to displace from the school, the class teacher, and the principal of the affiliated school were notified that the tuition was no longer in arrears. Once routing slip is completed, you will be able to obtain documents and grades from the Department of Academic Affairs.
2/ Students wishing to transfer to the school must have their enrollment transcripts from previous school and transcripts checked by the Citi University's Department of Academic Affairs. If there are no violations, you will be able to enroll in a professional program. Then, the mentor teacher and the teachers of the department will compensate the grades.
3/ If you are migrating from abroad, you will also need a certificate of enrollment and grades from the previous school.
Q. How to get a student ID?
Undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students will be issued a student ID to City University upon the President's order to enroll. If you have lost, lost or misplaced your license, you can contact the Department of Academic Affairs to recover it.
Q. How to get a statement?
The Department of Academic Affairs will issue an official statement of undergraduates, graduates and doctoral students of CITI University as well as transcripts.
Informal transcripts are available free of charge from the student database.
A certificate of completion and a formal confirmation of the grade in the diploma appendix shall be issued by the Department of Academic Affairs.
Q. What documents are required to reissue the diploma?
Citi University graduates who have graduated since 2002 will be reissued for abandoned, lost, or became unusable diplomas upon written request. The date of graduation and the number of the old diploma shall be affixed to the compensated diploma and shall be certified by the signatures, stamps and seals of the incumbent President and relevant people.
Re-issued diplomas must be marked for re-issuance. Reimbursement of diplomas is based on the cost of diploma materials and service fees. The fee is set by the President of CITI University.
Upon request of an individual, a fee of MNT 5,000 shall be charged for the issuance of references and inquiries in Mongolian, MNT 10,000 for the issuance of references in English, and MNT 5,000 for the issuance of archival documents.

Foreigners applying to study at CITI University are admitted in accordance with the Foreigners' Study Procedure approved by the Ministry of Education and Science, and applicants must submit the following documents. These include:

International students will first receive a Certificate of Study after registering at CITI University.
The application for a registered international student visa is submitted to the Citi University of Mongol by the Office of Foreign Citizens and Naturalization of Mongolia, and after obtaining permission, the student obtains a visa from the nearest embassy or consulate in the country of residence.
Q. Do you have a dormitory?
We can accommodate international students in 60 dormitory rooms. The room has 2-4 beds.

Employment
More than 90% of CITI University graduates are employed directly after graduation. We have also established the "CitiZone" innovation and business development center to help students and graduates get a job, start their own business, acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and practices for job candidates and compete in the labor market.
