Citi Thunder basketball team was established in the 2013-2014 academic year and is one of the best teams in Mongolian student basketball.

2014-2015:
Bronze medal of the Mongolian Student Universiade
2015-2016:
National Student College champion & Gold medal, G.Sarankhuu named Most Valuable Player
2016-2017:
- Champion and Gold medal of the 4th Student Sports Games of Sukhbaatar district
- Silver medal Mongolian Student Universiade
- B.Boldbaatar named Most Valuable Player and received a scholarship of the President of Mongolia.
2017-2018:
- Champions & Gold medal, National College Championships
- A first ever team to become a champion for 3 consecutive years in Mongolian college basketball association history
- G.Bold named Most Valuable Player
2018-2019:
National College League bronze medal
2019-2020:
T.Tsogbadrakh, the Captain of “Citi Thunder” received a scholarship of the President of Mongolia.
