THE FIRST SILICONE COSMETIC PROSTHETIC LABORATORY IN MONGOLIA HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED AT "CITI" UNIVERSITY

The first laboratory of prosthetics in Mongolia was opened at the School of Beauty, a part of "CITI" University. The Research and development work of the laboratory have been ongoing since 2017, and it is being opened today.

The latest 3D technology in laboratories is used to scan human body parts using scanners and create models using 3D printers, following advanced German technology.

There is little knowledge about prosthetics for those who have no choice but to amputate organs such as fingers and feet due to congenital or accidental injuries. In order to replace it and increase a person's self-confidence in terms of aesthetics, prosthesis laboratory has been opened at the School of Beauty Sciences of CITI University. In this way, it is possible to solve problems such as amputated organs and congenital defects, from an aesthetic point.

A prosthesis can be made by mixing 7-8 colors based on the person's skin color, such as vein color, fingertip color, palm base color, and so on. In addition, silicone and acrylic nails are made in a way that allows women to paint and care for their nails. It is also notable for its ability to perform movements such as bending and grasping, as it is made of iron at the finger joints. Currently, human organs such as fingers, hands, feet, ears, and nose are being made using this latest technology.

G.Khos-Erdene, head teacher of professional make-up and special effects at the School of Beauty Science of "CTI" University, will be the head of the silicone beauty laboratory. He has been trained in China, Russia and Korea.
